“Let’s Easily Create Dry Flowers at Home by Air-Drying Fresh Flowers!”

Unexpected Pregnancy and Flower Stories 🌸
One day, unexpected news came to us. I missed my period and decided to check, only to find out I was pregnant. It was my first pregnancy, and I felt so amazed and overwhelmed with joy! ❤️

A Special Bouquet from My Husband 💐
My husband (a Korean) prepared a bouquet to celebrate. We usually have artificial flowers and potted plants at home, but this bouquet was truly special. Though I’m not an expert, I take care of our plants with just enough attention, and I wanted to preserve the bouquet just as well.

As soon as I received the bouquet, I wondered, “How can I keep it for a long time?” Fortunately, the flowers were ones that wouldn’t discolor even when dried. So, I decided to take this opportunity to turn the fresh flowers into dry flowers and use them to decorate our home! ✨
Flowers That Naturally Started to Dry
While I was away from home for a few days, some of the flowers had already started to dry naturally. So, I simply plucked off the petals and left them on the table to air-dry. The remaining fresh flowers were placed in vases, and since there were so many, I split them into two vases for decoration.

I arranged the flowers slightly by design, and even with minimal effort, they turned out beautifully. In the background, you could see the petals drying, which added an emotional touch. 🌼

The Charm of Natural Drying 🌿
As the flowers gradually dried, I continued to let them air-dry on the table. The flowers in the vases also started to dry naturally over time, even with water still in them. When they felt about 80% dry, I completely removed the water and let them dry in the vase as they were. After a few weeks, the dried flowers were completely done.

Simple Home Decorating with Dried Flowers
The dried flowers were placed in a large cup without water. I used the petals and stems to secure them, keeping the natural look intact. It was so nice to decorate a corner of the house effortlessly and at no cost! The process was simple, yet it resulted in beautiful home decor. 🌸

Our Baby’s First Ultrasound Photo 🏡
Finally, I placed our baby’s ultrasound photo next to the beautifully decorated dried flowers. At 8 weeks, our baby measures 1.63cm and looks adorable with arms raised in a cheering pose. This small project feels even more meaningful as it marks the beginning of a new life in our home. ❤️

The process of making and decorating with dried flowers is simpler than expected and offers a deeply emotional experience. I hope this post inspires you too! 🌟
