Review of Meliá Vinpearl Danang Riverfront
🌿 As I planned my trip to Da Nang, I chose to stay at Meliá Vinpearl Danang Riverfront, which turned out to be an amazing choice. It’s conveniently located just 15 minutes by car from Da Nang International Airport, making it easy to reach right after landing.
The hotel is also near the bustling downtown area and the iconic Han River, making it a prime location for exploring the city. 🏙️📍

Lobby and First Impression
Upon arrival, I was welcomed by a spacious and luxurious lobby. The area felt very comfortable with its marble floors and modern decor.
However, one slight downside was that the staff’s English proficiency wasn’t as good as I expected for a 5-star hotel. Given that many of their guests are locals or travelers from Asia, it seemed like English wasn’t as necessary for communication.
Despite this, their friendly and attentive service made up for it, and I didn’t face any major inconveniences. 😊
Room – River View
I stayed in a River View Room, which was nice but didn’t quite meet my expectations. The photos made it seem like you’d get an unobstructed view of the Han River through floor-to-ceiling windows, but the actual view felt rather ordinary.
Still, at around USD $80.00 per night during the off-season in mid-August, the value was great.
Next time, I’m tempted to book the Panoramic View Room, as the photos of that view looked much more stunning. 📸✨
Breakfast – A World of Options
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. There was an impressive variety of cuisines available, including Vietnamese, Korean, Western, and Spanish dishes.
There was also a fresh bakery section that made for a perfect start to the day. 🍽️ I especially loved trying local delicacies like pho and banh mi, which gave me a taste of Vietnam’s rich food culture.

Facilities – Gym and Swimming Pool
The hotel also offers excellent facilities, with both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a well-equipped gym that guests can use for free.
I particularly enjoyed the outdoor pool, which offers a great view of the city while you swim. 🏊♂️In the evening, the lights around the pool created a magical atmosphere, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.

Tower Restaurant – A Must-Visit for Night Views
One of the best experiences was dining at the Tower Restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. The view of the city skyline at night was simply breathtaking, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for such a prime location.
It’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again. Instead of going for the steak, I decided to try the local Vietnamese dishes like pho, bun cha, and Vietnamese spring rolls — and it was absolutely the right choice. 🌇✨
Overall Evaluation
Meliá Vinpearl Danang Riverfront truly enhanced my trip to Da Nang. While the River View Room didn’t fully live up to my expectations, the overall facilities, service, and especially the breakfast made it a wonderful stay. I’m definitely planning to book the Panoramic View Room on my next visit, and the Tower Restaurant is a place I can’t wait to revisit. 💫
